Fossil-fuel powered vehicles are set to be phased out by 2040. But, many wait it brought forward by ten years to 2030.
Currently, one in every fifty cars sold is electric. The government is offering a plethora of incentives to get motorists to switch to electric vehicles such as zero road tax, free parking and use of bus lanes.
Are the government focusing on the right things in trying to initiate the paradigm shift needed in the public’s car purchasing habits?
The issues remain with the cost of electric vehicles, the availability of charging points, and the speed of charging.
