Introducing Our New Shell Electric Vehicle Card
We are proud to announce that we have added the Shell Electric Vehicle Card to a comprehensive line up of fuel cards.
With the introduction of a ban on the sale of diesel and petrol-fuelled vehicles coming within the next ten years, fleets are opting to gradually phase-in electric vehicles during that time.
We’ve been supplying fuel to fleets in the UK for nearly 45 years and in that time we have diversified and innovated to cater to the changing needs of our customers.
The electrification of commercial vehicles is the biggest shift in fleet refuelling we’ll see in our lifetime and we’re in the unique position to witness the change and respond accordingly. One in seven fleets now has electric vehicles, with that ratio set to increase, the introduction of the Shell Electric Vehicle Card gives us a foothold in the future of fleet refuelling.
One Card Fuelling Solution
The Shell EV Card is a complete fuelling solution in one card.
It offers an opportunity to serve the needs of electric vehicle drivers as well as those currently driving hybrid vehicles. Card users not only have access to 3000 charging points nationwide but also 3800 conventional fuelling sites via the Shell and partner networks.
Shell has partnered with 17 charging station providers to create a UK-wide network.
Customers will also be able to make use of the excellent facilities at Shell garages which include restaurants, shops, toilets and free wi-fi.
Another great feature of using cards from Shell is that drivers can collect Shell Go+ points which add up to great savings on fuel, food, drinks and lubricants.
Embracing Change
The issue of climate change is the biggest challenge of our time.
