Local councils in England have been trialling a novel new approach to managing traffic.
Zebra crossings have been replaced with trompe loeil style crossings that give the effect that the road markings are floating three-dimensional cuboids.
The trial has so far been a positive traffic calming measure, so look out for 3D zebra crossings in your area soon.
